Not all milk is created equal. We bottle only fresh, raw milk made by our cows grazing our diverse, perennial pastures, rounded out with a bit of dry hay (during the colder months) and a scoop of non-GMO grain (given during milking). This is the same milk - produced in our Grade A licensed dairy - for our cheesemaking operation. Our non-GMO, raw, grass-fed milk is sold in 1/2 gallon jugs for $6.00 each. Ooltewah Farmers Market is a community service initiative by Ooltewah Nursery. "Fresh from your neighbors' farms to your family's table" since 2013. OFM is a true farmers market that is food-focused. It is open to local farmers and food artisans only (no crafts), and it is open all 12 months of the year. A wide assortment of dairy products is available at this market including raw Jersey cow milk (by herdshare), raw Alpine dairy goat milk (by herdshare), raw goat milk (pet milk), and assorted goat milk cheeses, such as chevre and feta. Sheep milk cheeses of all types are available from soft to hard cheeses, such as chevre, halloumi, manchego, feta, and many other styles.
