Our Story: From Our Family Table to Yours

At Our Family Farms TX, we believe that the best nutrition shouldn't be a mystery. Our journey began with a simple, personal mission: providing the highest quality, most natural nourishment for our own five children. We wanted milk that was unprocessed, enzyme-rich, and came from cows treated with the respect they deserve.

What started as a commitment to our own family’s health soon grew into a passion for serving the entire Rio Grande Valley. Today, we are proud to be a locally owned, family-operated raw milk herdshare farm based right here in Los Fresnos, Texas.

We know that the quality of the milk is a direct reflection of the health of the herd. That is why we prioritize transparency and rigorous standards in everything we do.

• Holistic Nutrition: Our cows are primarily grass-fed and spend their days on full pasture, enjoying the South Texas sunshine. To ensure they produce the creamiest, most nutrient-dense milk possible, they have 24/7 access to high-quality hay and alfalfa. While they do receive a small amount of grain during milking to keep them happy and healthy, their lifestyle is rooted in the pasture.

• Uncompromising Safety: Your family’s safety is our top priority. Our entire herd is regularly tested for:

• TB & Brucellosis

• Johne’s Disease

• BLV (Bovine Leukemia Virus)

• The Raw Difference: By keeping our milk raw and unprocessed, we preserve the natural probiotics, proteins, and enzymes that make dairy a true superfood.

We believe that eating healthy shouldn't be a chore. While we are an old-fashioned farm at heart, we’ve embraced modern convenience to make sure you can get your milk easily.

We operate solely through a Herdshare System. When you sign up, you aren't just a customer—you are a part-owner of the herd, entitling you to a share of the fresh milk they produce.
