Legal Status & Regulations
Raw cow milk is prohibited for sale as a food in Queensland under the FSANZ Food Standards Code. The Queensland dairy scheme permits the sale of unpasteurised raw goat milk subject to pathogen testing, maintained recall procedures, and mandatory labeling: "Caution — This milk is an unpasteurised product and may contain organisms that could be injurious to health."
