Family owned and operated dairy goat farm located in Scandia, just east of Forest Lake. They’ve been producing goat milk for 50 years. Raw milk is available for picking up from the farm. Just contact Sarah and schedule a day to pick up, get the milk out of their big refrigerator and leave payment.

At our farm, we sell raw milk from our Jersey cows. They are out on pasture during pasture season, and eat hay the rest of the year. We also feed a very small amount of oats at milking time.

We have a mixture of breeds and crossbreds. The cows have access to pasture and are also fed sweet corn silage, hay and a small amount of protein mix. The price is $6/gallon picked up at the farm with your own containers. Just contact us to schedule a pick up time.

They milk a small herd of A2A2 registered Jersey cows. The cows are on pasture as well as get free choice high quality alfalfa hay. They also get a couple of scoops of grain during milking that the farmers have made up at a local mill. Milk is $8 per gallon. You must provide clean glass or stainless containers to transport your milk. They usually recommend half-gallon Ball jars. If you’re interested, feel free to call, text, or email them.

We sell raw A2A2 milk from our Brown Swiss cows. Great for fresh drinking or cheesemaking. Cream on top - $5/half gallon. Must come to the farm for pick up and bring your own container per MN state law.

Nick and Annie Schmitz maintain a herd of Jersey-cross cows that are genetically tested A2/A2 protein producers. The cows are machine milked into bucket milkers in a parlor. Milk is then filtered before being chilled in a bulk tank. Milk is never sold more than three days old. Cows are 100 percent forage-fed and DO NOT receive grain. Feed rations consist of pasture grass, grass hay, alfalfa, and/or haylage depending on the season. Cows have access to free choice minerals.
