Raw Milk Products in Paris, Île-de-France

Description

COW's newest shop, on avenue Daumesnil in the 12th. Raw milk from Domaine de la Charlotterie arrives Wednesdays, sold in store only.

COW Daumesnil: the 12th arrondissement shop

The newest of the COW shops, at 203 av. Daumesnil, 75012, opened in 2025 and brought the same counter east of the Bastille. Open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 1pm and 3:30pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am to 8pm, and Sunday 10am to 1pm. Closed Mondays.

The fresh dairy is the reason to plan the trip around a Wednesday. Raw milk arrives that morning from Domaine de la Charlotterie, a farm in Seine-et-Marne (77) less than 50 km from Paris, bottled by the litre in returnable glass (bouteille consignée) and carrying four days of shelf life. Faisselle, fromage blanc and skyr from the same farm are sold in 1 kg tubs. All of the fresh dairy is in store only ("vendu uniquement en boutique") and never goes out through the website or Epicery.

The cheese side follows the house pattern: bought direct from producers across Europe and beyond, much of it finished in COW's own cellars, with about 60 references rotating through from a dozen countries and raw milk cheese at the centre of the selection. A small grocery of honeys, jams and crackers rounds it out, and the shop runs tastings and cheese-making workshops.

The older COW shops are on Boulevard Saint-Germain (5e) and rue Lemercier in Batignolles (17e).
