Raw milk of any species is prohibited for sale for human consumption in Tasmania under the FSANZ Food Standards Code. Tasmania does not operate a dairy food safety scheme that would permit raw goat milk sales, unlike four mainland states. No exemptions or legal pathways exist for raw milk sales in Tasmania.
