Save Your Dairy sold raw cow milk directly from its Queen Creek, Arizona farm for over a decade before closing; the property has since been redeveloped for housing.
An early raw milk dairy in the Phoenix area
In 2010, Phoenix New Times described Save Your Dairy as the only farm it could find selling raw milk directly to consumers in the Phoenix metro area, with the milk also carried by a single retail store at the time. The Queen Creek dairy sold raw cow milk, kefir, and A2 milk straight from the farm for years afterward.
More options have opened since
Arizona has allowed licensed retail and on-farm raw milk sales throughout this period; details are on Arizona's raw milk laws page. Since 2010, more raw dairies have opened in the region, including farms now listed around Queen Creek and nearby Gilbert and Mesa.
The farm today
Save Your Dairy has closed. By October 2022, the milking parlor's foundation was slated for removal so the Higley Road property could be used for residential homes; see final photos of the site taken before that happened.
