Nick and Annie Schmitz maintain a herd of Jersey-cross cows that are genetically tested A2/A2 protein producers. The cows are machine milked into bucket milkers in a parlor. Milk is then filtered before being chilled in a bulk tank. Milk is never sold more than three days old. Cows are 100 percent forage-fed and DO NOT receive grain. Feed rations consist of pasture grass, grass hay, alfalfa, and/or haylage depending on the season. Cows have access to free choice minerals. We are a micro dairy family farm in West central Minnesota. We offer raw cow milk, heavy cream and herdshares that allows us to make butter for you. Our Jersey/JerseyX cows are 100% grassfed.
