About the farm
At Artesanias Puro Llano, we believe that real food comes from real ingredients — and nothing is more real than fresh, unprocessed raw milk straight from the Colombian plains (the so-called "Los llanos orientales colombianos")
Born in the heart of Casanare, Colombia, our artisan kefir is crafted using traditional fermentation method via kefir grains use only. We combine high-quality, locally sourced raw milk with carefully cultivated kefir grains — live colonies of beneficial bacteria and yeasts that transform fresh milk into a creamy, tangy, probiotic-rich beverage that has nourished communities for centuries worldwide.
Why raw milk kefir? Raw milk retains its natural enzymes, beneficial bacteria, vitamins, and minerals that are typically lost during pasteurization. When fermented with live kefir grains, it becomes one of the most nutrient-dense and gut-friendly foods available — a true superfood in its most natural form.
