The Czech State Veterinary Administration (Statni veterinarni sprava) permits raw milk (syrove mleko) sales through two channels: a separate room on the farm equipped with cooling equipment, and registered vending machines. Farmers must obtain approval from their regional veterinary administration before beginning sales.
A visible warning must be displayed at the point of sale: "Syrove mleko, pred pouzitim tepelne opracovat nebo pasterovat" (Raw milk, heat treat or pasteurize before use). The milk must meet all requirements for milk intended for human consumption. A registry of registered raw milk sellers is maintained by the SVS.
