Do you wish for fresh, creamy raw milk, but don't have time or room for an animal? We are offering both cow and goat herd shares. The goats we are currently milking are Nubians, which yield a sweeter and creamier milk than most goats, due to their high butterfat level (most people can't believe it's goat milk)! We enjoy our farm and caring for our animals. "And thou shalt have..... milk enough for thy food; for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance of thy maidens." Proverbs 27:27. We are small Mennonite-owned family business offering cow and goat herd shares. We have one cow, an A2/A2 Jersey. And are currently milking Nubian goats. We try to promptly chill and strain their milk, and make sanitary handling a priority. All of our milk comes in sterilized glass jars. A $5.00 jar deposit is required, if the jar is not returned by the next week pickup date. Plastic containers are also available, if preferred. The cow share, yields one gallon of milk per week, and costs $50 for the one time initial purchase fee, and then $18 per month boarding fee. The goat share provides 2 quarts of milk per week, and costs $25 for the one-time initial purchase fee, and then $20. per month boarding fee. Larger or smaller shares are also available. If for any reason you discontinue your herd share, your money will be refunded. We also breed registered Oberhasli and mini Nubian goats.

We have a grass fed/grain free herd of jersey cows. They are A2A2. We've been a closed herd for 25 years, and have selected for high fat and high protein. We don't use chemical pesticides or herbicides.

Lara Cattle Company offers raw Jersey milk through a herdshare program. The raw milk is provided by registered jerseys that are shown in dairy shows across Kentucky. During milking, cows are offered a non-soy, non-GMO grain to help keep their condition through the winter. All animals live their life holistically without the use of hormones or antibiotics.

Our Jersey Herdshare Through Our Private Membership Association (PMA) Provides Rich, Nutrient-Dense Dairy in the form of Raw Milk, Raw Cream, Yogurt, and Homemade Raw Grass-Fed Butter. We offer subscriptions as well as order as needed through our PMA. We're also registered and able to sell Pet Milk and Pet Dairy products through our Farm Market direct to consumer without a membership. All Pet Milk and Dairy is labeled Not For Human Consumption. We sell and deliver raw milk in partnership with Twilight Dairy Farm whom resides in Rockville, Indiana. We also sell and deliver their other products. The cows that produce the milk are 100% grass-fed jersey cows.

Sells raw milk in their farm store branded as “Lulu’s Pet Milk.” Traders Point Creamery produces award-winning cheeses, milk and ice cream from organic, 100% grass-fed, non-homogenized milk. We started bottling and selling milk direct to customers in the central Indiana region in the summer of 2003. We now produce several artisan dairy products made in small batches, using traditional methods. Our production practices are designed with health and sustainability as the goals, and with minimally invasive processes we retain as much of the milk’s natural flavor, character, and health benefits as possible.

Here at Deer Run Jersey Farm we milk 15-20 dairy cows. We have a pma milk share available. Pickup is here at the farm. $10 per gallon plus a membership fee.
